Welcome to the Toquerville City Cemetery, a place of rest and remembrance that has been serving the citizens and surrounding areas since the late 1800s. Our cemetery is a historical landmark, with most of the older graves being set on the east side along with a monument commemorating those whose grave locations have been lost to natural disasters such as wind, fire, and rain. As you explore the grounds, you'll find graves dating back to our City’s early days, reflecting our community's rich history and heritage

Veteran’s Memorial

In 2023, we proudly constructed a Veteran’s Memorial, a meaningful tribute featuring flags from every branch of the military. This memorial stands as a lasting homage to the brave men and women who have served our country.

Wreaths Across America

Each year, Wreaths Across America places wreaths on the graves of veterans to honor their service. Their mission is to "Remember the fallen. Honor those who serve. Teach the next generation the value of freedom." You can join by sponsoring a wreath, volunteering, or partnering with them on National Wreaths Across America Day and every day. Visit the official website for more information.

Cemetery Maintenance

To preserve the cemetery’s beauty, safety and ease of maintenance, weekly clean-ups are performed to remove items that do not comply with the cemetery’s policy for decorations. A larger, annual clean-up is performed in June of each year. Please see the policy below for detailed information on headstones and decorations.
