Daisy serves as the City Recorder and Chief Elections Officer for Toquerville City, a role she has held since joining the city in 2022. In this capacity, she is responsible for maintaining all official City records, including ordinances, resolutions, policies, minutes, legal documents, and historical records. She also oversees municipal elections, prepares meetings for various city committees and authorities, and ensures compliance with legal requirements for public notices and records requests. She is currently pursuing her education at Utah Tech University and working towards her Certified Municipal Clerk certification through the International Institute of Municipal Clerks Association. She has successfully completed the annual Records Officer Certification Course through the Division of Archives and Records Service. Prior to her role with the City, she gained valuable experience working at a locally owned and operated consulting engineering firm in Southern Utah, from 2018 to 2022. Active in professional associations, she is a member of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks, Southwest Utah Regional Clerks Association, and Utah Municipal Clerks Association. In her free time, she enjoys a variety of hobbies and interests, including volunteering, hiking, crafting, reading, traveling, and cooking
