Mayor Justin Sip is passionate about all things Toquerville City. A long time native of Toquerville, Mayor Sip was elected to City Council on January 1, 2018, before being elected Mayor on October 5, 2022. In addition, he has represented Toquerville City on the DTEC board, the Ash Creek Special Service District board, Toquerville Secondary Water Service board, Mosquito Abatement board, Washington County Solid Waste District board, and the Mayor’s board for Washington County Water Conservancy District. As a proud small business owner of over 25 years, Mayor Sip is a master gunsmith where he creates and manufactures custom guns. Mayor Sip has been married to his beautiful wife Cheryl for 31 years. They have four kids and four grandchildren. He loves spending time with his family and volunteering in his church community. He graduated from Hurricane High School in 1989 (Go Tigers!) and honorably served his country in the National Guard for ten years. Mayor Sip’s vision for Toquerville City is to promote responsible government, manage growth in a sustainable way, and to complete the construction on the new Toquerville Parkway.
