Ryker began his tenure with Toquerville City in 2016, initially joining the Public Works department. Following a brief hiatus, he returned in 2022, transitioning to the Planning and Zoning department. With deep-rooted connections to Toquerville, Ryker is committed to serving the community. His qualifications include being a Grade IV Water Operator, holding an Associate of Applied Science in Applied Technology from Brigham Young University Idaho, and earning certification as a Playground Safety Inspector. As the current Planning and Zoning Official, Ryker has played a pivotal role in shaping the 2024 General Plan Amendment, implementing crucial ordinance updates, and contributing to other essential plans and codes. Beyond his professional pursuits, Ryker is an avid soccer enthusiast, always eager for a game. He also finds solace in continuous learning, good literature, and cherished moments spent with his family.
